I think using Riker and Troi and pretending they were in the middle of a season 7 episode was a big mistake. They are too old to play those characters now. I'm sorry, but the bags under Riker's eyes were just a bit too much. And this is probably after hours in the makeup chair! If they want to continue this franchise, they need to do something smart. How about a time-travel series that brings the Trek history in line with current events? i.e. no Khan in the late 1990's, no WW3, etc. We could end up with a whole different Federation.
