I don’t know why they were disabled on the live365 station list for so long and now I don’t care.

They’re back.

I wrote my first novel listening to them almost exclusively.

Who the hell are they, you might rightly ask?

They’re an internet radio station that plays almost exclusively Irish traditional and ‘new’ traditional music.

They play extraordinary artists like Christy Moore, Sean Keane, Sean Tyrrell or Luka Bloom, and exquisite voices that make me sigh or catch my breath suddenly or just wait, still, when I hear them.

If you don’t care for this kind of stuff, well, can’t help you, I guess, but if you do, give them a try.

And listen for their best DJ, Stella O’Malley. She’s good. And she’s pretty.

I Passed My First ComptTIA Certification Exam!

Quoting from an email I sent earlier today….

“Hi,

I passed!

On “a scale scored between 100 and 900″ with 515 being a pass, I got 579.

I don’t know what the hell that means, except that I passed.

I am now CompTIA (http://www.comptia.org) certified A+ Core Hardware Technician.

I don’t know what the hell that means, except that I passed.

Very best regards to all, and the dog if you had one,
